Full vertical, roller & Venetian blinds: measure your window

Use a metal tape measure. Measure the width inside the recess at the top, middle and bottom; use the smallest width.
Measure the height inside the recess on the left, in the centre and on the right; use the smallest height.
Choose cm, mm or inches in the order form and use the same unit for both measurements. Enter the measured window size without making deductions.
Check handles, tiles and other obstructions. For outside-recess fitting, bays or an unusual opening, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the right measurements.

Headrail only: exact size or recess size?

Exact size: enter the total finished headrail width you need, including both end caps. If replacing a rail, measure it from end to end.

Recess size: measure the opening at the top, middle and bottom and enter the smallest width. Select Recess in the order form.

Enter your measurement without making deductions; choose the matching size option. Select 89 mm / 3.5 inch or 127 mm / 5 inch to match your slats. Control drop is the operating control length, not the fabric length.

Left and right are viewed from inside the room, facing the window. Middle split opens the slats from the centre towards both ends. Check your fixing surface and bracket choice. Replacement fabric slats are sold separately.

Replacement vertical slats: width, length & quantity

Measure the width of one fabric slat, not the whole window: 89 mm / 3.5 inch or 127 mm / 5 inch.
For an exact replacement, lay an existing slat flat and measure the fabric from its top edge to its bottom edge. Select Exact slat size and enter that length.
If using Window height, enter the measured height of the window opening instead. Do not apply deductions yourself.
Count the individual slats you need. Check whether you also need the optional weights and chain.

Check that your existing hangers and carriers match the new slats before ordering.

Which replacement part fits my blind?

Parts are not universal. Compare your existing part with the product photos and the checks below before choosing a pack.

Weights & stabilising chain	Choose 89 mm / 3.5 inch or 127 mm / 5 inch to match one slat. Stabilising chain joins the bottom weights; it is different from the operating control chain.
Carriers & trucks	Check the 28–30 mm headrail profile, carrier shape, slat width and Left / Right / Middle split choice. Compare the existing carrier with the photos.
Brackets	Top-fix brackets fit upwards and must match the 28–30 mm rail. Face-fix brackets attach to a vertical surface; the listed face-fix option is for 89 mm slats. Check the profile and clearance.
Slat hangers	Match the shape, number of holes and slat width. Round hangers: 89 mm, double-hole only. Square hangers: single or double hole, 89 mm or 127 mm.
Replacement headrails	Match your slat width, finished rail width, controls, stacking and bracket type. Check how the existing slat hangers attach.
